We enjoyed our stay here. The location was fabulous and we could walk everywhere, very central! Our room and hotel were lovely with great history. The hotel has been beautifully renovated/restored. We enjoyed our view at night sitting on our balcony. The breakfast was fantastic in the restaurant downstairs - a great start to our days! The staff in the restaurant were very attentive & welcoming, and the breakfasts were huge. The hotel staff were exceptional - Our luggage didn't arrive for 48 hours and they were more than happy to call the airport for us and keep chasing this up, something which was overwhelming for us not speaking the language or having phones that could make local calls. We really really appreciated this!

Located on a busy, urban square, the rooms (3 to a floor) were very quiet and soundproofed from the street noise. Both of our king bed suites were attractive, spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Everything worked and there were outlets by the bed and sink. The rooms had little balconies. The staff (front desk person), Marie Lena, super friendly and helpful with our luggage and gave us a solid referral for a dinner spot (1/2 block walk, penthouse restaurant with good food, cool music and super harbor views — N’tore Toucan). Also a positive, proximity to Hereklion Airport. We early morning flights out.

The property was clean, breakfast was exceptional and we loved having it in our room, albeit an extra €10 but definitely worth it. Staff were amazing, super friendly and each one introduced themselves to us when they saw us. We even got a personalised restaurant recommendation list. Parking opposite the hotel making it super easy when driving. Location was also great, quick walk into the centre of town. All issues/queries swiftly handled by front desk staff. Will definitely visit again.

Great location on Eleftherios Square with a balcony. Bus to Knossos goes from just outside, Archeological Museum is across the Square. Short walk to historic areas, town Centre restaurants and to the Harbour. Interesting themes to rooms - we stayed in a K suite full of books, that celebrates the famous Cretan writer Nikos Kazantzakis. Comfortable bed and good wet-room shower. Staff were lovely - very helpful and friendly.

Although I could not enjoy the hotel as much I will have loved to because my husband's flight was delayed, both Georgia and Marielena at front desk have don't their best to make my stay as good as possible The hotel is super well placed to visit the old Heraklion and it venetian port. I also loved the selection of wines & snacks from Crete (Inc cheese!) in the fridge
